A Big Win for EV Drivers, No More App-Hopping

Good news for Malaysian EV owners! TNG Digital has just dropped a new EV Charging feature inside the TNG eWallet app, letting users find, plug in, and pay across multiple charging networks in Malaysia and Singapore, all from one place.

The feature, powered by Voltality (a Beep-owned company), connects to different charge point operators (CPOs) without needing separate apps or accounts. Just open TNG eWallet, tap EV Charging, and you’re set.

No more juggling logins, card top-ups, or waiting for refunds, everything syncs smoothly through your eWallet, with instant deductions and automatic refunds for any unused balance.

“We’re Removing the Friction,” Says TNG Digital CEO

TNG Digital CEO Alan Ni said this new feature aims to make the EV experience truly effortless.

“As EV adoption grows in Malaysia, many drivers still juggle multiple apps just to charge and pay. We’re removing that friction. This one-of-its-kind in-app integration gives EV drivers a unified experience across networks, all through one app.”

At launch, the app connects with a lineup of top regional players:

  • KINETA
  • EVlution
  • Zura Charge
  • CHARGE+
  • RExharge
  • Powered By RISE
  • JusEV Charging Network
  • and major Singapore partners like SP Mobility, CDG ENGIE, EV Mobility, and MNL Asia

More partners are expected to join soon, expanding access even further.

Access 6,000+ Charging Points Across 1,700 Locations

Right now, the TNG eWallet EV Charging feature gives users access to over 6,000 charging points across 1,700 locations in both Malaysia and Singapore.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Launch TNG eWallet, tap on the EV Charging icon.
  2. Choose a charging location via map or list view.
  3. Select your charger or scan the QR code.
  4. Plug in, tap Next, and charging begins.
  5. Swipe Slide to Stop Charging when done.
  6. Receive your digital receipt automatically.

Fast, cashless, and fully digital, just how Malaysians like it.

Supporting Malaysia’s Low Carbon Mobility Goals

The rollout ties into Malaysia’s Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint (LCMB) 2021–2030, which aims for 10,000 EV charging stations nationwide by 2025.

As of September 2025, Malaysia already has over 4,100 charging points installed, showing strong momentum toward a cleaner transport future.

TNG Digital has been leading this shift, earlier collaborations with DC Handal made TNG eWallet the first platform to support QR payments for EV charging terminals.

This new integration now takes things further, combining discovery, activation, and payment into one sleek app experience.

Why It Matters for EV Drivers

With Malaysia’s EV scene heating up, this move hits right where it counts, convenience and sustainability.

  • No multiple apps
  • Transparent payment
  • Works in both Malaysia and Singapore
  • Perfect for road trips or daily commutes

Whether you’re cruising in a BYD Seal or an MG4, TNG eWallet just made charging smarter and smoother.

🔋 In Short

TNG eWallet’s new feature isn’t just a tech upgrade, it’s a glimpse into the future of mobility in Malaysia.

By connecting major EV networks under one digital roof, TNG Digital continues to prove it’s more than just an eWallet — it’s a lifestyle tool for the new generation of Malaysian drivers.
